Sally Pitkin Sally Pitkin
Independent Non-Executive Chair

Dr Sally Pitkin was appointed a Director of the Company on 1 July 2010 and Chair following the 2017 Annual General Meeting. Dr Pitkin is an ex-officio member of the Audit and Risk Committee, and the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee. Sally has more than 20 years’ experience as a Non-Executive Director in the listed, private, public and non-profit sectors, including experience in international markets, and over 14 years’ experience as a Non-Executive Director of ASX200 companies. She is a lawyer and former partner of a national law firm with banking law, corporate law and corporate governance expertise. Sally is a Non- Executive Director and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is Chair of the Institute’s Corporate Governance Committee. Sally is presently a Director of ASX listed companies The Star Entertainment Group Limited and Link Administration Holdings Limited. Sally holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Governance), a Master of Laws and Bachelor of Laws.

Anthony Anthony Heraghty
Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Anthony Heraghty was appointed a Director of the Company on 20 February 2019. Anthony has over 20 years’ leadership experience across the Retail, Apparel, FMCG and Marketing Services industries. Anthony joined the Group in April 2015 as Managing Director – Outdoor Retailing, where he was responsible for the BCF Boating Camping Fishing, Rays and Macpac businesses. Prior to joining Super Retail Group Anthony served in a variety of senior roles including Group General Manager of Underwear for Pacific Brands Limited, Global Marketing Director for Foster’s Group Limited and Managing Director for George Patterson and McCann-Erickson.

Reg Rowe Reg Rowe
Non-Executive Director

Reg Rowe was appointed a Director of the Company on 8 April 2004. Reg and Hazel Rowe founded an automotive accessories mail order business in 1972 which they ran from their Queensland home. In 1974 they commenced retail operations of the business which evolved into Supercheap Auto. Reg served as Managing Director until 1996 and then Chairman from 1996 to 2004. Prior to this, Reg had 13 years’ experience in various retail and merchandise roles at Myer department stores. Reg brings to the Board extensive retail industry and general management expertise and skills in retail and merchandise operations, property and strategy. Reg is a Director of a number of private family companies.

Diana Eilert
Independent Non-Executive Director

Diana Eilert was appointed a Director of the Company on 21 October 2015. Diana is an experienced non-executive director who brings three key skills to Super Retail Group: extensive operational experience as a Group Executive and CEO, Partner level skills in Strategy (with particular emphasis on technology customer experience and data), and, more recently, significant work in digital disruption and business models. Diana is also currently appointed to the boards of Domain, Elders and Navitas. With 25 years in executive roles, Diana was Group Executive with Suncorp and Citibank and also as a Partner with IBM, where she gained further technology experience. In her final executive role, Diana was Head of Strategy and Corporate Development for News Ltd, where her focus was on digital transformation and emerging business models.

Launa Inman
Independent Non-Executive Director

Launa Inman was appointed a Director of the Company on 21 October 2015, and chairs the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee. Launa brings to the Board extensive experience in retailing, marketing (including digital technology and social media), finance and logistics. Her diverse experience includes terms as Managing Director and CEO of Billabong International (May 2012 to August 2013), Managing Director of Target Australia Pty Ltd (2005 to 2011) and Managing Director of Office Works (2004 to 2005). Launa is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed the Wharton Business School executive program. Launa is a Non-Executive Director of Precinct Properties New Zealand and Jaxsta Limited, and a member of the boards of the Alannah and Madeline Foundation and Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival. Launa was formerly a Non-Executive Director of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Howard Mowlem Howard Mowlem
Independent Non-Executive Director

Howard Mowlem was appointed a Director of the Company on 13 June 2017, and is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Howard is experienced in many segments of the Australian and international retail industry. From 2001 to 2010, he was Chief Financial Officer and a Board member of Dairy Farm International Holdings, a Hong Kong-based pan-Asian retailer operating over 5,000 stores predominantly in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Prior to that, he held a range of financial management positions with the Coles Myer Group, including as finance director for Coles Supermarkets, for over 12 years. Howard brings extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, treasury, tax, audit and governance. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons), Master of Business Administration and Securities Industry Diploma. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia. Howard was formerly a Non-Executive Director of Billabong International Ltd.

Peter Everingham
Independent Non-Executive Director

Peter Everingham was appointed a Director of the Company on 19 December 2017. He is an experienced executive with over 25 years' corporate experience, including 18 years in senior executive roles in the digital sector. He was formerly managing director of SEEK Limited's International Division, and served as a non-executive director of the education businesses, IDP Education, Online Education Services and THINK Education, as well as chairman of Seek’s China subsidiary, Zhaopin Limited. His previous executive roles include serving as Director of Strategy for Yahoo! in Australia and Southeast Asia. Peter is also currently appointed as a non-executive director of ME Bank, iCar Asia and WWF-Australia, Australia's largest conservation organisation. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from IESE and a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Sydney, and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Alex Brandon Alex Brandon
Chief Executive Officer - Macpac

Alex was appointed as Macpac’s Chief Executive Officer in July 2012 and continues to serve in this role after Super Retail Group acquired the outdoor adventure specialist retailer in April 2018. Alex has over 20 years of retailing experience across the US, Australia and New Zealand with companies including Bath and Body Works, Express, Surf Dive N Ski, Rip Curl and Just Kids. Originally from England, Alex holds a Bachelor of Economics and Marketing degree from the London Guildhall University and is currently based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

David Burns David Burns
Chief Financial Officer

David Burns joined Super Retail Group in December 2012 in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). David holds a degree in Economics from the University of Sydney, and is a FCPA. David has over 25 years of finance experience in a number of industry sectors. He has held senior management positions at Qantas, Spotless and Lend Lease. David has overall responsibility for the finance, risk management, investor relations, property and store improvement portfolios, and customer relationship management functions for the Group.

Amanda Fleming
Amanda Fleming
Chief Transformation Officer and Managing Director – Super Retail Commercial

Amanda Fleming was appointed Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) in June 2017 and Managing Director of Super Retail Commercial in September 2018. Previous senior roles include Director of Human Resources for Coles, Chief Operations Officer and Chief People Officer for Pizza Hut USA and Human Resources Director for Mars in Australia, where she also served as European Organisational Development Manager for Mars in the UK and Europe. Amanda has a Masters in Organisation Change from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor of Business from Deakin University.

Paul Hayes
Chief Information Officer

Paul Hayes was appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) in December 2015 from UK retailer, John Lewis, where he served for a number of years as Head of Information Systems Delivery. Paul was previously a senior IT consultant with IBM, leading multi-million dollar projects for premier retailers including Tesco, Argos and Woolworths, and prior to that held a variety of roles with British Home Stores.

Jane Kelly
Chief Human Resources Officer

Jane Kelly joined Super Retail Group in July 2016 as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) from BT Financial Group, where she served as Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Director. Previously, she served in a number of senior roles in large, complex organisations, including Head of Reward for St. George Bank and Head of HR Australian Financial Services at Westpac. Jane holds a Masters of Commerce and Employee Relations with honours from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. As CHRO, Jane is responsible for advancing Super Retail Group’s strong focus on team engagement, culture and capability development.

Peter Lim

Peter Lim
Group General Counsel and Company Secretary

Peter joined Super Retail Group in January 2019 as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary where he leads the Legal, Secretariat and Compliance functions of the Group. He was previously the Executive General Manager, Legal & Corporate Affairs at Caltex Australia Limited, where he was responsible for the Legal, Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Internal Audit and Secretariat functions. Peter has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW, and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

Katie McNamara

Chief Strategy and Customer Officer

Katie McNamara joined Super Retail Group in April 2019 as Chief Strategy and Customer Officer. Katie joins us from IBM where she was Vice President Asia-Pacific, leading Digital Strategy and iX. She brings over 20 years’ experience in top tier consulting, retail and FMCG businesses, holding leadership roles in strategy, innovation, customer analytics and digital transformation, including Head of Strategy and M&A at Foster’s group. Katie has responsibility for corporate strategy integration and execution, analytics, marketing and customer strategy. Katie holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree, and a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and Cornell University. She has completed executive programs in Digital Marketing at INSEAD and both Digital Transformation and Marketing at Harvard Business School.

Ethan Orsini Ethan Orsini
Acting Managing Director – BCF

Ethan Orsini was appointed Acting Managing Director for BCF in February 2019. Ethan first joined Super Retail Group in 2006 as a Senior Business Analyst, and after various management roles moved on to become the Group Financial Controller, and then General Manager Commercial. Previous to Super Retail Group, Ethan held senior management and retail assurance roles across Canada and Australia working with brands such as David Jones, Colgate, Subaru and Estee Lauder. Ethan graduated with an Honours in Business Administration from Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada).

Darren Wedding

Chief Supply Chain Officer

Darren joined Super Retail Group in January 2019 as Chief Supply Chain Officer. Darren has over 30 years of experience in supply chain and logistics having served in a broad array of industries including Military, Steel Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail and third party logistics, with nine of his past 10 years based in Asia. Prior to joining Super Retail Group, Darren worked in a Regional Operations role for Zuellig Pharma serving their Asian based operations. Darren holds a Bachelor of Business Degree, Graduate Diploma of Business and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland.

Chris Wilesmith Chris Wilesmith
Managing Director – Auto Retailing

Chris Wilesmith joined Super Retail Group in 2007. He is a graduate of the Australian Graduate School of Management and has over 25 years retail and wholesale experience across Australasia, US and the greater Asia Pacific region. Prior to Super Retail Group, Chris was General Manager at Toys ‘R’ Us and previously spent 13 years with Woolworths, holding Senior Management roles in Merchandise, as well as Retail Operations within Dick Smith and Big W. Chris is responsible for the Supercheap Auto Retail Stores, Trade, Online and Auto Trade Direct and AutoCrew businesses.

Gary Williams

Managing Director – Sports Retailing

Gary Williams joined Super Retail Group in April 2019 as Managing Director – Sports Retailing from Alceon Retail Group, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and sat on the executive committee for the EziBuy and SurfStitch businesses. His global experience includes roles in USA, UK, Asia Pacific and South Africa. Previously, Gary held executive, board and senior retail leadership roles with brands including David Jones/Country Road Group, Myer, Puma, Topshop, Reebok, Coca-Cola and Westfield.
